Well I am just writing about some patients I came up with. I have to say sometimes they showed incredible stupidity, and sometimes I wonder whether they are plain stupid or irrational.
A 38-year-old woman chose to get medical care from a private clinic because in public hospitals the attitude of the medical profession is not gentle enough.
However, according to her test results, that private clinic failed to cure her disease. The doctor made her situation worse Instead. I guess my staff is able to control her illness though we cannot guarantee a cure.
It's common that we would like to talk to people with good attitude, but attitude shouldn't always be a decisive factor. Attitude is not the most important thing for the medical profession.
An outstanding doctor should be able to provide patients with accurate diagnose and proper treatment, which is of great importance. Nevertheless, that woman ignored this significant fact.
From my perspective, a woman at this age should be wise enough to tell from right and wrong. To my surprise her emotion surpassed rational thought. A therapist is first a doctor who is responsible of treating one's disease instead of a service personal.
