　Chapter 9　　 “So, how was your day at school?” Ryan asked when they got home. He had always been a caring brother to Erica.　　 “How can it be? Just like normal days.” But Erica can sometimes get annoyed by his everlasting questions and care. Right now, Erica just doesn’t want Ryan to be worried.　　 “You don’t look so good. Don’t lie to me. Tell me what happened.” No wonder he’s Erica’s brother. Nothing can escape from his powerful eyes.　　 “Fine, you see,” Erica hesitated, “Melissa is gone and still missing now. So is Tommy.” 　　 “What?! You mean Tommy Anderson??!” Ryan jumped up, a little over reacting. “Whoo-Hoo! That’s great, isn’t it?” He made a face.

　　Erica glanced at him sharply. That was not the reaction which she was looking for. I mean, yeah, for sure, she hated Tommy, but I couldn’t see anything to be celebrating about in this matter. And besides, she got in trouble for that.　　 “Ryan, I don’t understand you.” Erica said with a frown.　　 “You’ll get to understand me bit by bit. Not necessary to make haste.” Ryan teased. Why? He is so like Amber, and they are enemies!

　　“I can’t believe you! Tommy is gone and you are giggling your head off?” Erica complained. I’ve told you, she is a miss-goody. She gets boring to be with sometimes.　　 “What? Wasn’t that how you wanted?” Ryan carried on jumping up and down, totally forgetting his sister’s expressions.　　 Erica opened her mouth and breathed in a mouthful of air, she was too shocked to say anything.　　 “You know, I worked so hard to get that guy away, why won’t I celebrate?” Ryan’s words were as thunders, striking Erica’s mind.　　 Erica couldn’t help thinking about Ryan’s words ，“I’m going to make sure he doesn’t bother you again.” Erica trembled from head to toe.
