Chapter 8 Erica made her way to the locker. She zipped open her school bag to search for the newspaper, you know, the Sun Times. She fiddled around but couldn’t find it. “Oh, my gosh. Where the hell is that damn newspaper? I’m risking my life on it!” “Erica, is this what you’re looking for?” Amber waved her arm high in the air with something which looked pretty much like a newspaper. “Hey! Where did you get that from?” Erica shrieked. “Your lock password was too easy to guess.” Amber really entertained herself by acting in this manner. “You horrible thief! Give that back to me!” Erica went for a grab but Amber quickly removed her arm and flourished in the air. “Of, course I’ll give it back. I don’t want some kind of scrap paper. But only under one condition.” Amber whispered leisurely. “Tell me about it.” “You know about the teenagers,” Amber blinked fawningly. “I’m also pretty curious… I think that it won’t hurt to… ” “What are you trying to say, I don’t have all day!” “Fine! This is what I’m trying to say. I want to work with you guys.” “On What?” “The mystery thingy.” Amber begged like a innocent little mutton. She is always like that. She naturally softens her voice when she needs help. And the way she talks makes people wanna throw up. She adds a‘y’to everything she says it to make her voice sound cute.
