It’s boring Maths lesson again. Miss Hill is babbling about analytic geometry and parabolas. Andy is biting his pencil thoughtfully as if lousing around in his day dream, about Helen, I guess. Katlin just threw a note towards Todd, with a wink. Todd winked back, in this disgusting way. If I only looked a little longer, I would have threw up right before them. I’ve never seen more of a bad flirter. Only Helen was all hurt and looked a real mess, probably because she was abandoned by Todd. Her hair was all scruffy and she was black-eyed as if she hadn’t had any sleep in nights. Poor girl, she doesn’t know what’s going to befall her eyes. No one seemed to be paying any attention to the teacher’s babbling. We can never understand parabolas anyway, and who cares? No one ought to care about geometry when one’s life is a total mess. I looked back at Helen, she was still sobbing. And she was tearing her note book as if tearing her own heart. You see, this is a rather special note book, as far as I know. It was full of Todd’s name, I’m not even kidding! On every page, EVERY SINGLE PAGE! While she was so miserable ripping her heart out, Todd was there, flirting to Katlin! No one do that! I mean, you just can’t do that to somebody, unless, you’re human less. Look, even vampires understand love, say nothing of humans! I can’t stand this anymore, so I ripped a small part of my notes. And so I wrote:
Helen: Don’t be too grieved. Todd doesn’t know what he is doing,ok? He is ungrateful for what he did, so I guess it’s not worth crying over someone like that. Life is distressful; it’s time to move on. Come on, find someone else. I want all the sunshine back to your face again. And I tossed it at her when Miss Hill was writing on the white board. This is when the bell rang. Everyone sprang out in a rush, except Helen. I decided not to bother her, since she wasn’t in a good mood. And I might just stroke one of her nerve. Andy was still sitting there, day dreaming. I made my way to the locker, ignoring Todd and Katlin, although they tried to talk to me. How can I ever talk to them again, it’s against my principles. “Hey, Jessy! I didn’t see you at the disco!” Katlin called out, as bold as a brass. I turned around, fixing my eyes on her; I wanted how a bitch would look like. I’ve never seen them; they aren’t found in zoos, are they? “Don’t call me Jessy! And of course you didn’t see me at the disco,” I snapped. “You were busy spending a splendid time with Todd in the back yard.” She looked hurt, or annoyed is more exact. “Jessica, you must have mistaken me with somebody else. It’s kind of dark in the night, I’m sure you didn’t see right.” She had this innocent look on her face, only it didn’t made me pity her. “Yeah, I’m sure I took you wrong. I don’t know who that was calling me a rat when I got hiccups.” This is when Todd got in the way. “Huh? That’s ridiculous, I was sick at home during the disco.” He sort of blushed. I only looked up at him because I wanted to see how a liar would look, they aren’t found in zoo’s either. “Yeah, sure. I totally believe you.” I replied in this sarcastic way. Suddenly everyone looked back at my shoulders, when I found Helen, all pale looking. I would have slapped Todd right before her, but she got caught of my hands, and pulled me to the resting room. “Why did you stop me?” I asked, sort of angrily. “Never mind why, I just don’t want to make a big deal out of this small thing. Just let go, it doesn’t matter to me.” She replied. “Are you pulling my leg? I can’t let them get away!” “I’m quite over it, Jessica, believe me, I am.” Really?
